MCPSS REGIONAL HISTORY DAY 2022
Dates and deadlines for Regional, Alabama, and National History Day events

School Sponsors will use this form to submit student entries. Documentaries, papers, and website URLs will be included with the form submissions.
Each year, National History Day® frames students’ research within a historical theme. The theme is chosen for broad application to world, national, or state history and its relevance to ancient history or to the more recent past. The 2021-2022 theme is Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.
The Theme Book, along with the Rule Book (newly adopted in 2020) are two very important resources for students and sponsors.
These checklists will guide you as you review your entry to make sure you have followed the NHD rules for your category.
The Evaluation Forms are the same forms that the NHD judges will be using. Refer to these forms to better understand how you entry will be evaluated.
This Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences graphic organizer helps students select a topic for their NHD project.
